Thank you both for the information. I'll recapture my 3 months spent in India as well. Hopefully, that gives me time to get I-140 processed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about I-140 Premium Processing.

I have my I 140 approved in 2006 and it has priority date. Filed my I 485 in August 2007. The priority date in the receipt is blank, guess looks to be normal.

Apply H4 with lawyer or by ourselves? My lawyer took care of my H1B, green card cases. Do I need to apply H4 for my wife through my lawyer? What is the advantage of using lawyer with H4 application. Can I apply it by myself? Is there any H4 application checklist around? Thank you.

You can definitely save money by doing that. I had to keep my car in storage for an extended period when I was away and I just kept the comprehensive part of the insurance coverage and removed all others including collision since I was not driving it. The cost of insurance with out the collision, etc. is very low.

I'm going to Canada on vacation for 2 days. I've read that if yr I-94 is valid and even if yr visa is expired you can return to US (thru automcatic revalidation)

2. you dont belong to a country declared as sponsoring terrorism.
My question is if you surrender yr I-94 to a Canadian inspector while crossing in to Canada, what do you show US immigration people while coming back? Do they stamp something etc? Has anyone gone thru this or knows abt this?

well done... i agree, the second and third are best, but i think the second would be best. the black man in blue world, for some reason feels cliched. i don't know it feels like i've seen it before. although the second logo, is getting pretty boring niraj ;). i've known you for years... it's time for a change. ;). but it's cool anyway :esmirk:
